USA Rogaines - North American Champs, & the CNYO Trifecta Cup

The 2016 North American Championships were held last weekend in the Sierra National Forest near Shaver Lake, CA, USA. Results can be found here. This was a qualifying event for up coming World Rogaining Championships.

 

And over on the East Coast of the USA a unique variant of rogaining, the CNYO REGAINE XII Letchworth State Park, Portage, NY was held on the 20 & 21st August 2016, the last leg of the CNYO "GAINING" Trifecta Cup 2016; results are here and here  respectively.

 

Congratulations to the athletes, volunteers and organisers involved with both events.

The 2016 European Rogaining Cahmpionships commences in under twenty four hours. The organisers have arranged for tracking of all teams and have provided  information such as a control list for the various events 24 hour rogaine and other rogaines of shorter duration. 

All the best to the competitors and organisers.

14th WRC Northern Territory Aust - Results, Media, Reports...

The 14th World Rogaining Championships 2016 has been run and won. The organisers have published the results, maps, photographs, reports - wrap up and have called for feedback. By all accounts the event was an outstanding rogaine hosted in arid Central Australia at the Ross River Resort, east of Alice Springs Northern Territory Australia. 

 

"RESULTS - ...commanding performance from Chris Forne and Greig Hamilton (NZL) winning with 4400 points. Second place overall and 1st mixed open to Rob and Kathryn Preston (AUS) on 3880 points. Women's open winners were Georgia Whitla and Lara Prince (NZL) with 3210 points. " Congratulations to these and all the other athletes.
